The president, CVS, Walgreens, and Satan (?)

By Cindy Brewer

What do President Joe Biden’s administration, large retail pharmacies, and New Mexico’s Satanic Temple have in common? The promotion of Abortion!

We have never had a U.S. administration that so strongly advocates for abortion, even up to nine months of pregnancy. Its strongest proponent is the president who somehow believes he is a faithful Catholic.

In the first week of 2023, the FDA, under Biden’s administration, removed long-standing restrictions preventing retail pharmacies from offering the abortion pill, mifepristone. Until this year, the ability to obtain it had been restricted to in-person visits to clinics, hospitals, or other certified healthcare providers.

As soon as it was made legal for retail pharmacies to sell, CVS and Walgreens – in states that allow abortions, began preparing to dispense the abortion pill by becoming certified and then registering and training staff to provide the pill to customers. A prescription is still necessary.

Twenty states’ attorneys general, including Texas, signed a letter to CVS and Walgreens headquarters making them aware that it is against federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1461) to mail abortion pills and warned them not to mail them to their states.

The Office of Legal Counsel of the Biden administration encouraged the U.S. Postal Service to disregard the text of this statute, saying it didn’t have to be taken literally. However, disregarding this law and mailing abortion pills is still a federal crime.

The states are also concerned that mail-order abortion pills would increase coerced abortions by boyfriends or parents on women against their will.

The Satanic Temple (https://thesatanictemple.com/) in New Mexico, has fallen for the Father of Lies, thinking they are helping women who want an abortion. When has Satan ever wanted to help humanity? The temple performs what they call Religious Abortion Ritual. Is that not directly sacrificing the blood of infants to Satan? Now, that sounds more like Satan’s desire, not helping.

But aren’t President Biden, CVS, and Walgreens doing the same thing, indirectly? They are promoting the same result – the death of an infant.

Pro-abortion advocates believe they are helping women, but women in a crisis pregnancy need financial and caring support, not an abortion – the taking of the life of another human! These proponents of abortion are sacrificing children to Satan.

The attorneys general have done their job, and I’m grateful. But I believe that hitting these pharmacies in the pocketbook is the only way to cause them to rethink their decision.

Although my pharmacy plan states to purchase my prescriptions from CVS, since learning of their new practice I refuse to support CVS for prescriptions or even Walgreens for incidentals. I’ve sent my prescriptions to HEB. It turns out that they will accept my insurance and provides the same or better prices.

I encourage others to do the same and to write to the pharmacies’ headquarters to let them know of your decision.

In my investigation, I discovered that Walgreens is being boycotted by some who were unable to purchase birth control supplies. It turns out that they protect their employees from selling these items if it goes against their conscience. Hooray for this! However, that employee must then pass on the request to a different employee, so does it really protect one’s conscience? Let’s make a bigger boycott.
